Scanfy

Effective 1 October 2026

Privacy

Your scans belong to you. This policy explains local storage, system services and the choices that can send information outside your device.

Effective date: 1 October 2026. Publisher: HUZK LTD. Contact: support@huzk.com.

Documents and local storage

Scanfy processes document images on your device. Original photos, edited page images, PDFs, document details and draft scans are stored in the app’s storage. Scanfy has no account system, document server, cloud library, advertising or product analytics service of its own.

When information can leave your device

Camera and photo permissions

The camera is used to capture pages. You choose images to import through the system photo picker. Sharing or saving through another app follows that app’s permissions. You can change camera permission in your device settings.

Keeping and deleting files

Saved documents remain in the app until you delete them or remove the app’s data. Draft scans remain available to resume or discard. Temporary files may be kept while a save or export is in progress and cleaned up afterward.

Deleting a document in Scanfy does not delete copies you previously exported, shared or backed up. Remove those copies in their destination or use your device’s backup settings. Daily-allowance records follow the operating-system storage service’s lifecycle and can remain after the app is removed.

Your choices

You can scan without creating an account, decline optional permissions, delete documents, discard drafts and choose whether to export files. System backup and iCloud/Google service settings are controlled on your device.

Children

Scanfy is a general-purpose document tool and is not directed at children.
